December Meeting

Come and join us for our next MOPS meeting on Tuesday, December 6. We will have yummy snacks and a fun Christmas craft. We are also collecting non-perishable food items for the FBC Flagler Beach food pantry. Items most needed are canned meats and canned fruits, but anything is welcome.

November Meeting!

Our November MOPS meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 1.  November is National Adoption Month, so Dusty Thomas, a member of our steering team, will be speaking on her experiences as an adoptive mom and will also share some general adoption information.  Our "craft" project will be a very yummy make-and-take.  Hope to see you there!

Tator Tot Casserole Recipe

Here is the recipe for the Tator Tot Casserole Jill brought to our October meeting:

2 lbs. tator tots
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 pint sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
10 ounces cheddar cheese

Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

October Meeting

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, October 4.  The theme for the month is Breast Cancer Awareness, so be sure to wear pink!  Our guest speaker will be Dr. Padmaja Sai, and her talk will be done in a Question and Answer format, so be sure to have your questions ready for her.  The craft for the month will be a service project to help (in a small way) patients who are affected by breast cancer.

First Meeting of the Year!

Our first MOPS meeting of the 2011-2012 year will be on Tuesday, September 6 at 9:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Palm Coast.  MOPS registration fee for the year is $23.95, and there is a $5 monthly craft fee.

The MOPS theme this year is "Momsense: Bold, Loving, Sensible."  The theme verse is 2 Timothy 1:7: "God doesn't want us to be shy with His gifts, but bold and loving and sensible."
